Why I choose Funke Akindele to be my running mate – Jandor
The Lagos State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Olajide Adediran, popularly known Jandor, has explained why he chose Nollywood actress Funke Akindele to be his running mate.
On Channels TV’s Sunrise Daily program on Thursday, he said this.
Jandor said when asked why he chose a well-known person to be his running mate;
I didn’t choose Funke Akindele because she’s a popular face.
I chose her because she’s qualified, even if she wants to be governor of this state.
What is wrong with her? This is somebody that has invested so much in this economy, somebody who has been an employer of labour in this economy.
