Spanish designer, Paco Rabanne dies at 88
The 88-year-old Spanish fashion designer Paco Rabanne, well known throughout the world has passed on at age 88.

The tweet read;
The House of Paco Rabanne wishes to honour our visionary designer and founder, who passed away today, at the age of 88. Among the most seminal fashion figures of the 20th century, his legacy will remain a constant source of inspiration.
According to reports, Rabanne passed away in his French residence.
Among the most influential fashion figures of the 20th century, the inventive designer with Spanish roots was hailed as a visionary.
In his Instagram post, Puig, the parent business of his brands, described him as a pioneering designer who radicalized the idea of fashion.
Rabanne was born Francisco Rabaneda y Cuervo on February 18, 1934, in the Spanish Basque town of Pasaia.
He gained fame for his space-age, metallic clothing and perfumes that were marketed all over the world.
