JJC Skillz’ son, Benito changes last name to step father’s
Benito Bello, the son of Abdulrasheed Bello better known as JJC Skillz, has changed his last name to Andrew, the name of his stepfather.
The singer’s son with his previous British wife, Mella, is named Benito. Since JJC Skillz’s marriage to Funke Akindele ended, Benito and his son have not been getting along well.
As his father’s marriage broke down, he claimed that his father had physically assaulted him after he was expelled from school, which opened a box of worms.
Benito announced on social media that he is no longer bearing ‘Bello’ as his surname. He also revealed that he bears ‘Andrew’ as his last name while posting a photo of his stepfather.
He declared that he has dropped his father’s last name and taken his stepfather’s in its place.
He wrote; “Y’all please get it right, my name is Andrews now, I’m not a Bello.”
