Comedian AY responds to Julius Agwu’s accusations of bewitchment

Share:

Comedian Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY, has responded to allegations made by his colleague, Julius Agwu. Agwu had accused AY of hanging up the phone on him and claiming that he had been bewitched.

The feud between AY and Bright Okpocha, also known as Basketmouth, over a disputed N30,000 payment was also mentioned.

According to Agwu, AY hung up on him when he discovered that Agwu was planning to stage a show on the same Easter Sunday he normally anchors his comedy show.

Agwu also claimed that he became sick after speaking with AY and had to undergo surgery to remove a tumor in his head.

In response, AY shared evidence of the dates he held his shows and the dates Agwu held his. He also shared pictures of his family hanging out with Agwu and revealed that they both attended each other’s shows.

AY questioned how it was possible for him to take over Agwu’s Easter Sunday date without any verifiable facts.

In his words;

”The truth remains the only ultimate power to downplay all the lies in a place where the internet never forgets.

“Dear senior colleague, Julius Agwu, my question is, how is it even possible to lay claims to the fact that I took over your Easter Sunday date with verifiable facts.”

AY also stated that he would file a slanderous lawsuit against Agwu if the allegations continued without any proof.

He emphasized that projecting peace does not make him weak and that he is not seeking any negative friendships.

He said;

”Should this continue without any proof to your claims of me bewitching you, I will be filing a slanderous lawsuit against you for consistently trying to damage my reputation.

”Finally, projecting peace across boards doesn’t make me weak. Neither am I seeking any form of unnecessary friendship that is laced with negativity.”
