How Ini Edo, Alex Ekubo, others turned up for IK Ogbonna’s mother funeral

Nollywood celebrities showed up in style to pay their last respects to the mother of their colleague, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, popularly known as IK Ogbonna.

The actor had announced his mother’s passing on his Instagram page in January, where he shared a video collage of her and bade her farewell, saying “Rest in peace my Angel.”

After almost three months, IK Ogbonna and his siblings finally laid their mother to rest in a grand ceremony that saw his colleagues attend to show their support.

Nollywood stars such as Ini Edo, Alex Ekubo, and Yomi Casual were among the many who arrived in a convoy to attend the event.

Alex Ekubo posted a video of their arrival on his Instagram story, where they were seen arriving in style, with Ini Edo and Alex himself making it rain money at the event.

The likes of Lillian Afegbai, Laura Ikeji, Onyi Alex, and Tope Tedela were also present at the funeral to pay their respects to the late matriarch.

The event was a somber affair, with the Nollywood stars dressed in black and paying their respects to the family of the deceased.

The burial ceremony was a fitting tribute to IK Ogbonna’s mother, who was undoubtedly proud of the legacy her son has built in Nollywood.
