How to pick and hang above bed Art

Choosing and hanging artwork above your bed can be a fun and creative way to add a personal touch to your bedroom decor. Here are some tips to help you pick and hang the perfect art piece.

Consider The Size And Proportion:
The size of your artwork should be proportional to the size of your bed. A general rule of thumb is to choose a piece that is two-thirds the width of your bed or larger. Avoid choosing a piece that is too small, as it can look lost on the wall. If you have a king-sized bed, consider hanging two smaller pieces side by side.
Match The Style And Colour Scheme:
Consider the existing decor in your bedroom when choosing your art piece. Look for artwork that complements the colour scheme and style of the room. For example, if your bedroom has a modern and minimalist aesthetic, consider a piece of abstract art with bold lines and colours..
Personalize It:
Choose a piece of art that has personal meaning to you. It could be a painting from a favourite artist, a photograph of a special memory, or a print of a place you love. This will make the artwork more meaningful and special to you..
Experiment With Different Arrangements:
Before hanging your artwork, try experimenting with different arrangements on the floor. This can help you visualize how the artwork will look on the wall and determine the best placement
Hang At The Right Height:
The artwork should be hung at a height that is comfortable for viewing from your bed. A general rule of thumb is to hang the artwork at eye level, which is typically around 60 inches from the floor.
When it comes to hanging the artwork, it’s important to use the right hardware for the weight of the piece. Consider using picture hanging hooks or a sturdy wire attached to D-rings on the back of the artwork. Make sure the artwork is level and centered above the bed for a polished look.
Overall, choosing and hanging artwork above your bed can be a fun and creative way to add a personal touch to your bedroom decor. Consider the size, style, colour scheme, personal meaning, and arrangement before making your final decision.
