Osazuwa Smith Oshodin, the visionary founder and creative director of SmithCLOTHIER, continues to shape the narrative of modern African fashion with the launch of his latest offering — THE POTTER COLLECTION.

Known for his quietly powerful aesthetic, Oshodin infuses this new collection with a delicate blend of intentionality, grace, and modern tailoring.

Through this collection, Osazuwa brings to life a vision rooted in femininity and elegance, designed for women who move with confidence and clarity. The pieces are neither loud nor overstated, but it does not need to be, as it speaks instead with precision and refined detailing.

With THE POTTER COLLECTION, this designer tells a story of blossoming womanhood. He understands how to shape fabric around a woman’s strength and softness.

The looks show reflection of grace, strength, and refined identity.

SmithCLOTHIER brings a timeless sensibility to its designs, leaving a distinct signature on every piece. THE POTTER COLLECTION embraces a calm, considered approach to fashion, while also reflecting a designer who experiments thoughtfully with proportion, color, and form.

Among this collection is a Floral dress –
A vibrant celebration of femininity and self-expression. This look features bold floral Ankara prints with an off-shoulder silhouette and dramatic sleeves—blending structure and flow for an effortlessly regal presence. Perfect for weddings, cultural events, or high-fashion occasions.

Even in its simplicity, this piece exudes a beautiful confidence, establishing a strong design identity that is intentional and steadily unfolding.

Another standout pieces in the collection is the KASOSA set which demonstrate power dressing. Featuring wide-leg black trousers and a cinched high waist blouse – this all-black look embodies quiet strength and timeless style. Flared sleeves add subtle drama, making it ideal for both elevated daywear and evening elegance.

There’s a youthful sensibility to this look, one that would appeal to a woman who desires structure with a hint of charm.

Then comes the Royal Crepe. This outfit is where modern style meets a touch of royalty. Made with crepe material paired with a soft white coat detailed with elegant gold embroidery. With its clean lines, flared trousers, and easy layering, it’s a polished yet approachable look—great for formal events, special occasions, or when you want to show up and stand out.

What stands out most in THE POTTER COLLECTION is Osazuwa Smith Oshodin’s intuitive grasp of form, fit, and femininity. This collection feels like the unfolding of a designer in tune with his message, which seems to be balancing strength and softness, clarity and fluidity.

With The Potter Collection, SmithCLOTHIER isn’t just presenting fashion — it’s presenting identity. The brand continues to carve out a distinctive space in the landscape of modern African fashion, and this latest collection affirms that its voice is not only emerging but flourishing.

We eagerly anticipate what comes next from this promising creative force.
