Lagos Theatre Festival showcases superlative talents

It was a showcase of talent and creativity at its finest as West Africa’s largest theatrical gathering ‘The Lagos Theatre Festival’ held it showcase recently in Lagos.

The event which was a huge success, featured conversations with the incoming DG of the National Theatre Tola Akerele, and electrifying performances by Kininso Concepts, Nevana Productions and B-Rated Productions and a night of music by coded vibes band.
Executive Director of the LTF Ms Bikiya Graham-Douglas speaking at the event addressed the importance of the LTF Showcase to the eco system of the performing arts industry in Nigeria, noting that the Lagos Theatre Festival has an audience of over fifty thousand, participation from 22 Countries and has organized over 200 events and workshops. The LTF showcase 2024 Bikiya says was a teaser to LTF 2025 which will be larger and better, and will showcase theatre in unconventional spaces.
Bikiya Graham-Douglas an Actress, Producer, an Art Enabler and Founder of Beeta Universal Arts Foundation and Beeta Productions, emphasized the importance of festivals like these being a springboard for talent development and the need for continued support.

LTF is managed by the LTF Foundation GTE with Olasupo Shasore as the Chairman, with David Evans and Tosin Oshinowo as board members amongst others.
