Experience the excitement as popular family reality TV show THE BIG FAMILY DREAM TV Show makes a comeback, bringing with it life-changing opportunities for contestants! Not only will the winning family receive a staggering N5 million in cash, but they will also enjoy a complete kitchen overhaul worth N10 million.

L-R: Oludare Onasanya, Executive Producer, THE BIG FAMILY DREAM, Rachel Ekeh, GP brand Manager, Pasta. Adeyinka Adebayo,
Activation Manager. Foluke Makinde, Caterogy Manager, Pasta, at the Lagos audition of the Big Family Dream season 3 held in Lagos recently

THE BIG FAMILY DREAM TV show is a financial literacy family game show where 16 families (selected through an open audition) compete to win a dream prize every season.

In the two previous seasons, the dream prize was a three bedroom apartment won by Mr Abraham and Osinachi Hange family and The Dickson Oyetayo FAMILY for season one and two respectively.

The Lagos Audition was held recently, kicking off the 3rd season of the show. Participating families who trooped into the JJT Park Alausa Ikeja, venue of the event, took part in various outdoor games and quiz competitions, with winners emerging at the end of each game. The selected families will participate in this year’s event which will be held later in the year.

For Bafot Studios, Golden Penny Pasta, and Lifemate Nigeria, organizers of the family entertainment show, the show is based on the idea that families who manage their budget effectively can achieve their dreams faster.

Speaking at the event Executive producer and show creator, Oludare Onasanya, stated that the Family Dream Game Show was initiated around the family, which is considered core in every society. “If family structure is ruptured, then success or prosperity, peace and unity in the country is almost impossible.” Mr Onasanya noted that THE BIG FAMILY DREAM is family entertainment at its best, premised on the simple fact that any family that manages their family budget effectively will achieve their dreams faster. “Two families have already become landlords through the game show- however, housing is not the only aspiration of families, that is why this season, the dream prize is ‘N5m cash and a complete, tastefully finished kitchen worth over N10m”, says Onasanya.

He further noted that audition is going on for hundreds of families in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, where 16 families would be selected for the TV game show. “We believe that a family that makes decisions together, where the man does not spend without consulting the woman and children, will achieve its dreams faster.” He added that peace, prosperity, and unity would follow if the family succeeds.

Onasanya further added, “The show promises a Dream Prize every season. The dream prize in every season changes, because family aspires to different things. It could be a dream car, a dream vacation next season. For this season, N5 million injected into any family will help put a smile on their faces.”

On her part, Foluke Makinde, Category Marketing Manager for Pasta, said Golden Penny Pasta’s partnership with Bafot Studios for The Big Family Dream game show is a perfect match for the brand. We are very keen on family bonding, family enjoyment, and that is what what are trying to do. We want families to achieve their dreams of owning a home. It’s about making people’s dreams come true while having fun.”

Makinde noted that “Nigerian families have enjoyed the premium quality of our pasta over the years. This is an opportunity for us to delight our customers, help make dreams come true, and create a special bond with Nigerian families in a fun-filled environment, all while they continue to enjoy their natural affiliation with our products that have earned their loyalty over the years.

“Furthermore, the open audition is a family fun day. We encourage families to come out and have fun with Golden Penny Pasta, and to discover More Reasons to Love the Golden Penny Pasta while they savor the great taste and the good nutrition: enriched with protein and fibre for their families and loved ones.” says Makinde.

Winners of season 2 edition Sandra Dickson Oyetayo and her family were present during the Lagos audition to show their support and encouragement to participating families. Mrs. Oyetayo disclosed that living in Lagos and owning a house of your own has been a challenge, but thank God for the Big Dream Family, our dream of owning a house has come to pass and we are so grateful to them.”

Mrs Dickson cleared misconceptions about the event as prearranged by organisers, “I had not met Mr Dare before we took part . It wasn’t prearranged , it was just something that happened by God’s grace and with a lot of practice, because I had to watch the past episodes to get a better idea of the show. At first, I was doubtful, but as the show progressed, it became real to me. I never believed I would win a house in my life. I want to encourage other families to put in their best, because the show is real.”

Orebayo Ejiemhen, Media Manager for Lifemate Furniture, commenting on their support for the show, stated that the event is part of the company’s corporate social responsibilities to give back to society, and for our love and care for Nigerian families.

The show which kicks off Oct 6, will run through December 29, with amazing line up of game shows, such as money management, shopping to find hidden treasures and cooking to save their lives, amongst others.
