Chidimma Adetshina returns, thank Nigerians for believing in her
Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 contestant, Chidimma Adetshina, has returned home to a grand welcome after securing the first runner-up spot at the just concluded pageantry in Mexico City.
Chidimma Adetshina who emerged as first runner-up at the recently concluded 2024 Miss Universe pageant returned to Nigeria for a grand welcome on Tuesday.
The pageant’s grand finale took place on November 16 at Arena CDMX in Mexico City.

In a video circulating online, Adetshina, who was crowned Miss Universe Africa and Oceania, was received in grand style with fans chanting thanksgiving songs in various dialects to celebrate her victory.
Speaking about her journey, achievements, and her new titles, she went online to celebrate and thank Nigerians and Africans for standing by her.
“I came, I saw, and I shook the universe. Returning home as Miss Universe First Runner-Up and Miss Universe Africa & Oceania. I’m filled with immense gratitude for Nigeria and Africa for believing in me and helping me reclaim my dreams.

Denmark’s Victoria Kjaer Theilvig was crowned the winner, succeeding Nicaragua’s Sheynnis Palacios, the 2023 titleholder.
