Sandra Okunzuwa, a versatile Nigerian talent known for her roles in Nollywood, has a passion for travel that extends beyond the silver screen.

The movie diva, who is also a lawyer and movie producer, revealed the allure of Mexico and her unforgettable experiences in the vibrant ancient country.

“I feel at home there. I have family in Mexico. It is a peaceful country, and it’s the perfect place to unwind,” she shared.

During her trips to Mexico, Okunzuwa said she indulged in a variety of thrilling activities, including zip-lining, ATV rides, and water sports. One particular memory stands out: “The roller coaster ride was quite scary before the zip-lining, but it was refreshing afterwards. I loved it. I love adventures.”
Reflecting on her overall experience in Mexico, the Something Like Gold producer, described it as “really fun.”

“I enjoyed trying various activities, sampling traditional Mexican cuisine, and immersing myself in their local culture. I tried their Mexican rice, it was nice,” she said.
For those considering a trip to Mexico, Okunzuwa offered some advice: “Mexico is a fun place. The beach is nice, the food and their culture are all exciting. The Mexicans are great people, I love how family-oriented they are, just like Africans. I would advise you to go there and try their resorts. Stay in a resort and spend like 5 to 7 days, it’s going to be fun.”

When asked about potential locations in Nigeria that could be developed to rival Mexico’s allure, Okunzuwa suggested the Dangote refinery area. “At least there’s space,” she noted.
