The Eleve Paragon Collection by Luxus Craft, designed by Chidinma Favour Chinda, was one of the standout moments at the AFAA Runway Showcase 2024 in Cape Town, South Africa, on November 7.

The collection effortlessly fused cultural significance with bold yet minimalistic designs, offering pieces that were not only stylish but also easy to wear. It perfectly captured the essence of global fashion excellence, earning praise from fashion enthusiasts and industry professionals alike.

The first look from the collection was a vibrant celebration of orange, blending traditional elements with a contemporary twist. The short-sleeve t-shirt, with a round neckline, featured subtle African-inspired symbols in a lighter shade of orange, creating a striking yet balanced contrast.

Paired with straight-cut trousers adorned with matching motifs, the outfit had a harmonious feel. The relaxed fit and elastic waistband gave it a comfortable, laid-back vibe, while black platform heels added a modern touch that tied everything together.

Another look that caught the eye was a white cropped t-shirt with a relaxed fit and bold black African-inspired prints on the chest. Paired with black straight-leg trousers featuring silver-grey African motifs, the outfit had a luxurious yet approachable vibe.

The model’s asymmetric braided hairstyle and glossy black platform heels added a sophisticated, contemporary flair to the ensemble.

This look was a perfect blend of casual streetwear with cultural pride, effortlessly bridging the gap between comfort and elegance.

Chidinma’s dedication to her craft was evident throughout the collection, with the third look being a clean and minimalist two-piece ensemble. The loose-fitting shirt featured neatly stitched white pockets and subtle white embroidery along the V-neckline, while the matching shorts created a cohesive, effortless look. Simple black boots added a modern, understated edge.

The final look was a showstopper, closing the show with bold, unforgettable energy. A sleek black strapless tube top, with a leather-like texture and a fitted silhouette, exuded confidence and power. Paired with loose black trousers decorated with intricate silver-grey African motifs, it beautifully combined cultural heritage with modern fashion.

The adjustable drawstring waist added practicality, while black pointed-toe ankle boots and a high braided ponytail added an extra layer of sophistication. This final ensemble perfectly showcased Chidinma’s ability to merge tradition and contemporary design, leaving the audience in awe.

Luxus Craft, under the creative direction of Chidinma Favour Chinda, truly demonstrated its skill in blending African heritage with modern fashion through the Eleve Paragon Collection. Every piece reflected a deep respect for African artistry, from intricate embroidery to bold prints, seamlessly integrated into contemporary, wearable designs.

The flawless finishes, clean lines, and thoughtful silhouettes highlighted the brand’s commitment to high-quality tailoring and innovative design.

The Eleve Paragon Collection was a powerful testament to Luxus Craft’s mission to celebrate African culture while making a global impact in the fashion world.
