Perfectscentsperfume, a luxury perfume store in Ikeja, area of Lagos State, is expanding its luxury presence in Lagos as it gets set to unveil its third store–The Perfect Niche Emporium, strategically located in the heart of Lekki.

Making this announcement at a press conference recently at Saffron Hotel in Lagos, CEO, Perfectscentsperfume, Mrs. OJ Awa-Ibraheem also announced plans for the creation of her own perfume line–”Jemilah” ( meaning beautiful in Arabic) partly inspired by a previous article published by this writer in Vanguard Allure, titled “Scent of a Woman.”
The new flaghip perfume store, billed for formal launch on Saturday, December 7, represents a whole new concept of perfume retailing, as it plans to offer only niche fragrances sourced from around the world, “allowing customers to discover the scents that resonate with them personally.”
According to Mrs. Ibrahim, to enhance customers’ experience, she said, “we are introducing a dedicated Pure Fragrance Corner, where customers can explore pure fragrance oils—undiluted and authentic. This interactive space will let customers identify the notes that appeal to them, helping us suggest perfumes that align perfectly with their preferences.”

She further revealed that the new store’s ambience has been carefully adapted to evoke a sense of warmth and luxury; from inviting seating areas to personalised consultation, aimed at “providing an immersive, satisfying experience that goes beyond a simple shopping trip.”

Asked how she hopes to deal with competition considering the current exchange rate, she said: “My faith is bigger than the dollar.”
