TAANWA To Showcase New Collection At Men’s Fashion Week Nigeria Abuja 2025

Contemporary African fashion brand stylized Táànwá (The Brand TAANWA) is set to unveil a new menswear and unisex capsule at Men’s Fashion Week Nigeria’s 10th-anniversary edition which will be taking place on the 15th to the 17th of August 2025 at Jabi Lake Mall, Abuja.

The three-day showcase event marks a decade of the country’s flagship men’s fashion platform and features runway shows, panels and brand activations curated by Qhue Concepts.

For Táànwá as a brand, it had built a reputation for story-driven, Afro-contemporary tailoring which blends indigenous textiles with modern silhouettes in the city of Abuja where the main production house is situated delivers through a slow-fashion, craftsmanship-first approach. Founded and creatively led by Tosin Kehinde Ologun.

Táànwá produces in Abuja and has expanded operations within the states in Nigeria, Ghana and the United Kingdom. Tosin says the brand’s ethos is to celebrate African aesthetics while making them legible to a global audience.

While full look details are amazing men outfit and a few women’s fashion, the new drop is expected to extend Táànwá’s signatures clean, precise cuts; textural play with aso-oke, adire and Ankara; and a palette that moves easily from ceremony to contemporary street tailored for the Men’s Fashion Week stage. The label has teased its appearance for the anniversary edition across official channels, aligning with the event’s focus on craftsmanship and innovation.

The 2025 Abuja outing doubles as MFWN’s 10-year milestone, with organizers describing it as Sub-Saharan Africa’s largest menswear showcase. This year’s program at Jabi Lake Mall featured packed runways and crowds, underscoring Abuja’s growing influence alongside Lagos in the national fashion calendar.

Táànwá (often styled The Brand TAANWA) operates from Abuja with UK registration and worldwide delivery, producing bespoke and ready-to-wear pieces and maintaining manufacturing in Nigeria. The brand positions itself as both heritage-rooted and globally facing, with messaging that highlights cultural pride, longevity and quality over trend cycles.

Táànwá’s participation in this year’s event strengthens a season that is spotlighting home-grown labels scaling internationally without abandoning local production. As Nigerian menswear continues to shape regional and diaspora style conversations, MFWN’s anniversary platform offers rising and established designers Táànwá among them visibility before buyers, media and new consumers.
