Must Do Beauty Hacks Before Bed

A few small bedtime beauty habits can work wonders for your glow.
Transform your beauty routine with these simple habits, to achieve soft, glowing skin and healthy, manageable hair, all while you sleep.

Skincare Mistakes We Make
  1. Use Rose Water as a Toner

Rose water is an amazing toner for the skin, it is 100% natural and has excellent moisturising and soothing properties.
It is very important to use a toner before applying serum and moisturizer because it helps the skin absorb these products more effectively.
Rose water is also perfect for use around the eyes. The skin in this area is very delicate but still requires hydration.

  1. Apply a Hydrating Body Lotion or Oil

Before going to bed, treat your skin to a nourishing body lotion or oil. Applying a rich moisturiser helps to lock in hydration and keep your skin soft and smooth overnight.
For an extra treat, use a body oil infused with essential oils like lavender or chamomile to relax and unwind. This not only hydrates your skin but also provides a soothing aroma that promotes a peaceful night’s sleep.

  1. Use a Night Cream

Night cream is an amazing product that supports the skin’s natural regenerative processes while you’re sleeping.
It also helps keep the skin hydrated, soothes irritation, and calms the complexion. This really helps you wake up to beautiful, glowing skin.

  1. Lip Scrub

Lip scrub helps remove dead skin cells and dryness from your lips.
Follow with a lip balm to leave your lips feeling soft, smooth, and hydrated.

  1. Night Hand Care Routine

Your hands deserve just as much attention as your face, especially at night when the skin repairs itself. Once a week, gently exfoliate your hands with a scrub to remove dead skin cells and promote smoother, softer skin.
After exfoliating, apply a rich, nourishing hand cream to deeply hydrate and protect the skin barrier.

  1. Have a Nighttime Hair Routine

Wearing a protective hairstyle while sleeping helps prevent hair breakage. This simple hack helps grow your hair longer than it could be. If you’re wearing your natural hair, before tying your hair, it’s a good idea to apply a lightweight hair serum, leave-in conditioner, or hair oil to the ends.
This helps lock in moisture, reduce friction, and protect your hair overnight, leaving it softer and healthier by morning.

  1. Apply a Hydrating Foot Cream

Before bed, apply a thick layer of hydrating foot cream or balm, focusing on dry spots like your heels and soles.
To lock in moisture, slip on a pair of cotton socks. This will help the cream deeply penetrate and keep your feet soft and smooth by morning.

  1. Face Mask
Before going to bed, it’s the perfect time to use a sheet face mask to deeply hydrate the skin.
When used regularly, hydrating face masks can make the skin appear more glowing and supple.
You can also use a sleep mask for achieving glowing skin by morning. These masks are designed to be worn overnight, delivering deep hydration and essential nutrients while you sleep.
  2. Sleep on a Silk Pillowcase

Unlike cotton, silk does not absorb moisture, which helps your hair retain hydration overnight.
This is especially important if you apply leave-in treatments or serums in the evening, silk allows your products to stay on your hair, rather than being absorbed into the fabric.
