The stage is set for another vibrant celebration of food, culture, and creativity as GTCO Food and Drink Festival returns in 2026, continuing its role as a key driver in the evolution of Nigeria’s culinary scene.

Once rooted in roadside grills, bustling markets, and home kitchens, Nigerian cuisine has steadily evolved into a global conversation, where street food meets refined dining.

The GTCO Food and Drink Festival has become a central platform for this shift, bringing together street vendors, chefs, and food entrepreneurs to showcase both traditional flavours and modern interpretation.
This year’s edition will once again bring together a diverse mix of street food vendors, innovative chefs, and emerging food entrepreneurs, offering attendees a chance to experience both authentic local flavours and modern reinterpretations.

From smoky suya to elevated tasting portions, the festival reflects a unique blend of tradition and innovation.
Beyond the food, is the broader cultural and economic impact of the event, its contribution to Nigeria’s hospitality ecosystem and its role in spotlighting African cuisine on the global stage.

As anticipation builds, this year’s edition billed to hold from May 1st to 3rd, at the GTCO Centre Oniru Lagos, promises more than just food. It is expected to deliver a rich cultural experience that reflects how far Nigerian cuisine has come, from smoky suya spots to curated dining tables, while offering a glimpse into its future on the global stage.
