Participants praise Natures Gentle Touch Workshop for transforming hair care experience
Natures Gentle Touch, Nigeria’s top personal style brand, successfully held its first quarter hair care workshop, receiving accolades from participants who expressed gratitude for the life-changing experience that enhanced their skills in natural hair care maintenance and growth.
They described the workshop as educational and informative.
The venue of the workshop was at Natures Gentle Touch Hair Institute in GRA, Ikeja.

Ibukunoluwa Adeyeye, who attended Natures Gentle Touch workshop for the second time, commended the initiative, describing it as informative and encouraging, and attributing a positive change in her hair care routine to it.
“Before coming to the workshop, I’ve always believed my hair cannot grow beyond the length I have seen in years. I didn’t know that the stunted growth was caused by split ends. “It was at this workshop that I got to know that if your hair has split ends, you have to trim it. Trimming the hair once in a while helps the hair grow well”.
She further explained that product application matters a lot. “The way you apply certain products determines if your hair will grow or not. For example, if a product is applied incorrectly, it will affect the hair. “You cannot apply a product meant for the scalp on hair strands. It will affect the hair.
“The workshop has helped me to be more informed on how to take care of my hair. I am more confident and encouraged to carry my natural hair with pride”, she said.
Loore Oluwa, another participant, revealed that the biggest tip learnt is how to massage the scalp and wash her hair, and specifically avoiding using finger nails to scrub but the pads of the fingertips.
“I also learned why it is important to take off braids after two to three weeks to avoid breakage. Keeping to this has helped my hair improve a lot”, she said.
“Learning about hair breakage, knowing your hair texture, knowing when to trim the hair, they are not new to me, but I never knew how important they are in maintaining healthy hair. For us who wear our hair naturally, Deep conditioning must be a routine for easy management,” said Adebukola Oloyede, a student of the University of Lagos, who was attending the hair care workshop for the first time.
Adebukola was grateful for the Natures Gentle Touch workshop, stating that learning how to take good care of the hair is also hygienic, which every woman must take seriously.
