Nollywood stars, Tana Adelana and Gabriel Afolayan have been selected for the first-ever Nigerian Electronic Media Content Exposition and Awards, NEMCEA. Iyke Okechukwu, Ronke Odusanya, Harry Dorgu, Emeka Ossai, Uche Agbo, Nnamdi Odunze, Sunshine Olawore, Shileola Ibironke, Wendy Lawal, Lydian John, Adeniji Omirin, and Lisa Molapo are the other 12 candidates for the awards. The Electronic Media Content Owners Association of Nigeria, or EMCOAN, was the brainchild behind the three-tiered awards ceremony, which would take place over the course of three days. Netflix to sponsor West African students in film, television courses
Netflix has asked West and Central African film and television students to apply for its Creative Equity Scholarship Fund (CESF). In a statement on Tuesday, the streaming juggernaut announced the scholarship. In accordance with the statement, chosen candidates would have the chance to study at institutions in a variety of countries, including Nigeria, Ghana, Benin, and Gabon.
