American actresses, Carrie Fisher and her mother, Debbie Reynolds who died a day apart will have a joint funeral and be buried together at the Hollywood Hills’ Forest Lawn Memorial Park, new reports reveal.

The actress who portrayed Star Wars‘ Princess Leia died December 27th, four days after suffering a massive cardiac episode aboard a Los Angeles-bound plane. A day after Fisher’s death, Reynolds, the Fifties icon best known for her role in Singin’ in the Rain, died following what Todd Fisher described as a “severe stroke.”

“She said, ‘I want to be with Carrie,'” Todd Fisher said “And then she was gone.” In an interview with 20/20set to air Friday night, Fisher added of his mother’s death, “She didn’t die of a broken heart. She just left to be with Carrie.”

Todd Fisher did not reveal when the funeral will take place but added that it would be private. The family is also discussing a public memorial, but no plans have been made. Fans nationwide have held lightsaber vigils for Fisher since her death.

According to TMZ, Reynolds chose Forest Lawn’s Hollywood Hills location – where stars like Bette Davis, Lucille Ball, Buster Keaton, Florence Henderson and Paul Walker are interred – because she loved Liberace, who also rests at the memorial park; Reynolds portrayed Liberace’s mother in the 2013 biopic Behind the Candelabra.
