Singer, Akon is sued for $150 million by business partner

Popular Senegalese-American singer, Aliaume Badara Akon Thiam, better known by his stage name, Akon might have boosted in one of his songs that “he is so paid” but if the recent reports are anything to go about, then, that might not be true.
Reports say, he is owing Devyne Stephens, his business partner for more than 10 years, a huge amount of money.
According to TMZ reports, Devyne Stephens, a longtime music executive, is suing Akon for $150 million in alleged unpaid fees after he helped to launch Akon’s music career. Devyne Stephens also accused Akon of holding out on him for more than 10 years.
From reports, Akon has gone on to earn nearly $400 million in roughly a decade. Even though, Stephens overcame a contract dispute with Akon in 2015, he claims he never got the money he was owed.
