Actor, David Oyelowo reacts to US President Trump’ derogatory comment on African countries

British-Nigerian actor, David Oyelowo, who was a guest on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” while discussing his new movie “Gringo”, came to the defence of his home country, Nigeria.
Reacting to the United States President Donald Trump’s comments on some African nations being t’shithole’ countries, Oyelowo said only ignorant people are capable of making such comments.
“Well…. My first thought is…. Anyone who thinks Nambia is an African country, knows nothing about African countries.
“I’m a proud Nigerian and that statement can only come from someone who has never been there and is ignorant of who I am and who my people are”
