Ooni of Ife to embark on a 10-day visit to Brazil in June

Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, would be embarking on a 10-day historical visit to Brazil in June, 2018 to strengthen the cultural ties between the blacks in Brazil and Yorubas in Nigeria.
In the course of his visit, the monarch would be playing ambassador of Nigeria showcasing our tourism potentials and how it benefit both countries.
Just recently, the Ooni of Ife honoured the outgoing Brazilian Ambassador to Nigeria, Mrs Maria Auxiliadora Figueiredo with Oodua Descendant Award of Excellence in recognition of her efforts in promoting cultural exchange between Nigeria and Brazil.
His visit would establish long diplomatic ties between Nigeria and Brazil,which would allow cultural, economic and spiritual exchanges that will yield revenues for our people.
