If you are not ready to get married, don’t do it – Yvonne Nelson

Ghanaian actress and movie producer, Yvonne Nelson, has said that she is in no rush to get married.
In an interview with Ghana’s Joy FM, the 32-year-old spoke of how
people get married and within six months, the marriage is over and all
the efforts made for the wedding gone.
According to her, one should not embark on a wedding if one is not
prepared for marriage.
“People marry and six months it’s over. I don’t wanna mention names.
So all the wedding everything is gone? The cake, limousine, and all
done? They can walk away just like that? No marriage has to be like
that. If you are not ready, don’t do it,” she said.
When asked if she wants a white wedding in her life, Yvonne answered
in the affirmative, adding that, “If it happens, fine. The timing has
to be right. I have a baby but I don’t wanna rush into it. A woman
can’t marry herself so if it happens yeah.”
Yvonne Nelson and Jamie Roberts, a British photographer, became
parents to a baby girl, Ryn Roberts, on October 29, 2017.
Reports have it that their relationship is currently going through a crisis.
