Super Falcons defeat Gambia to qualify for AWCN 2018

News making round reveal that Nigeria’s senior women’s football team, Super Falcons, have qualified for the 2018 African Women’s Cup of Nations.
The Super falcons, having clinched the title of the reigning champions, defeated Gambia with 6- Nil win to qualify for the 2018 competition which will be hosted in Ghana.
On the Super Falcons twitter page, they shared the good news of their victory, writing;
“FT: Nigeria 6-) Gambia (7-0agg)
Reigning champions Super falcons have qualified for the 2018 African Women’s Cup of Nations which will be held in Ghana in November which will serve as the chase 3 Afrcian teams to the 2019″
