Nollywood comic actor, comedian and theatre arts practitioner, Hafiz Oyetoro, on Monday celebrated his birthday as he clocked 56.

In an Instagram post, Hafiz, popularly known as Saka, shared a picture of himself, appreciating God for another year of life.

The talented father of three captioned the picture, “Plus another year today! I have every reason to say ‘thank you ALLAH’… IT IS WELL.”

Here are quick facts about the Saka

Hafiz was born in Adegbola town of Iseyin Local Government Area, Oyo State, on August 20, 1963

He attended Obafemi Awolowo University, Osun State, where he studied Theatre Arts and also earned a Master’s degree in Theatre Arts with specialisation in African Dance at the University of Ibadan

Presently running a PhD programme at the University of Ibadan, he also lectures at Adeniran Ogunsanya Federal College of Education, Lagos State. He teaches theatre arts.

He featured as the main character in a 2013 MTN advert where he announced ‘I don port o.’

It was reported that he was on a N20 million per annum contract with MTN, and he was contracted for 5 years.

Saka turned down the appointment given to him by then President Goodluck Jonathan as one of his ministers.

In a message to Twitter, Saka said he was not happy with Jonathan because he did not improve the lives of many Nigerians who really needed the help.

According to Saka, he said he married late because he was poor and didn’t have enough to cater for a wife. Presently he is married to Olaide Oyetoro. They have two sons Abdullahi Oyetoro and Munim Oyetoro, and a daughter Rufiat Oyetoro.
