Why 7am and 3pm Is The Best Time Of The Day To Have Sex

January 20,2019
Share:

Be it morning sex or evening sex, it is just an age-old conflict with men on one side and the women on the other side.

It is only natural for men to wake aroused in the morning thus making it their prime time whereas women prefer evenings when things are less busy, that is after house chores and the children have been put to sleep.

This difference is because men do have a spike in testosterone between 6a.m and 9a.m and naturally want to take an advantage of that for a good early morning intercourse. This is quite the opposite with the ladies who have their lowest amount of daily testosterone in the morning and a minimal increase in the evening.

The best time of the day to copulate is right after 3p.m., according to hormone expert Alisa Vitti, that is the time when men and women are most in sync, Men’s Health reports. Though men can perform best physically in the early morning as a result of the testosterone boost but they hit an estrogen peak later in the afternoon, this make them more emotionally attuned to their spouses. Since women also experience a peak in Cortisol levels right around this time thus it easily helps to boost energy and alertness. ‘’ While this may not seem like a logical set-up for satisfaction, given the previous endorsement of testosterone, the combination actually makes men more emotionally present during sex and better focus on a woman’s needs and satisfaction,’’ Vitti writes.

Don’t get discouraged if 3p.m does not work for you, as there have been evidences to suggest that morning is the right time. A study of 1,000 people conducted by Forza Supplements found that the best time to make love is about 7.30 a.m., that is about forty-five minutes after the optimal time of waking up to achieve a perfectly tuned up body clock. Hence researchers concluded that morning sex is simply fantastic especially as it unleashes endorphins that lower blood pressure and reduce stress, setting you up for a nice day. Irrespective of the time you indulge in it, sex

is sex. Morning sex? Relaxing; Afternoon sex? All cheeky and delightful; Evening sex? Fantastic and finally, Drunk and sloppy at 2 a.m. sex? Coolest and the best, as a roll in the hay first thing in the morning might just be the best sex since morning quickie can get your endorphins pumping, put you in a great mood and help you get through the day.

There is also another school of thought that has it that, the best time to have intercourse depends on your age, this is according to a sleep and body expert. ‘’Rather than sex being a spontaneous act, there are in fact times of the day when libido is higher depending on whether someone is in their twenties, fifties or seventies’’ according to Dr Paul Kelley a clinical researcher associate at Oxford University’s Sleep and Circadian Neuroscience Institute. He went further to say the body clocks change over each decade.

According to some research Dr Kelley originally carried out for the Daily Mail, he narrow down the peak libido for this age group that is those in their twenties to three o’clock in the afternoon. They can want sex at any time of the day, as there is a peak of sexual energy at this point for the 20s.

For those in their thirties, there is a shift in body clock at this age, that means they need to wake up early, so copulating earlier is a very good idea. Dr Kelley pinpoints the magic minutes around 8.20 a.m., when sunlight boosts testosterone in both men and women.

The forties will feel more alert earlier in older age hence you need to go to bed early. Dr Kelley recommends sex sometime after 10 p.m. before you sleep off.

Fifties have to engage in love making around 22.20 p.m., so bed time gets to be earlier, same with time for sex. The mornings tend to be busier for the 50s, so it is not an ideal time for intimacy.

The group of Sixties ought to have sex around 22.00 p.m., as after orgasm, you release Oxytocin which is a wakefulness hormone and if you go to bed early in your age, tendency for you to want to have sex sometimes before dozing off is most likely.

Finally is the Seventies, the same time above is applicable to this age bracket, they should get up early around 6.30 a.m. as they need to hop in to bed early too.

Nevertheless, do not allow science to tell you when to have sex as you can become an independent man with an independent manhood and you can freely use it whenever you so desire or want.

Despite the fact that each of you may have a favourite time of the day, pleasing your spouse often during their best moments bring fairness and fun, when this occur, it becomes a win-win for you both.
