As the world mark this year’s Valentine’s Day, Tinu Agbabiaka, certified relationship counsellor, has admonished couples to continually find ways to express love to one another beyond the day.

She added that love expressions are not limited to just one day.

The lawyer and author urged individuals to resolve to be a better date, boy/girlfriend or spouse.

“As we celebrate Valentine’s Day today & have taken out time to appreciate our partner, let’s be reminded that Love expressions are not limited to just one day. Let today be the beginning of a better relationship as you both find ways to express love to one another. So resolve today to be a better date, boy/girlfriend or spouse. In the midst of all the activities today, remember TRUE LOVE IS NOT NECESSARILY LOUD BUT FELT DEEP DOWN IN THE SOUL. Let the love overflowing today continue after today and for the rest of your lives together.

“No more abuse (physical, emotional, financial, sexual etc.). Let there be more love, understanding, open communication, patience, peace etc. Please do find time to commit to a better relationship today. The magnitude or extent of love is not determined by the size or value of the gift(s) you receive today.” She said.
