Starboy, Wizkid sensitises fans on upcoming elections
Starboy, Wizkid has joined other Nigerian celebrities to speak about the upcoming elections. Taking to his Snapchat story, he went ahead to sensitise his fans ahead of 2019 elections.
In his post, he asked fans not to allow anyone to influence who they vote for. He wrote,
“Don’t let anybody wey don collect money influence your vote to tell you who’s right or not.”
He then went on to challenge prospective voters to choose who is best for them. He said:
“Vote who you like. Vote wisely. If you’re old enough to get a PVC, you’re old enough to think. Don’t sell your vote. Your vote can make a difference. Go out and vote.”
Wizkid also urged politicians to act right and not play with people’s lives:
“And politicians wey dey enter stop joking with people lives! U’re responsible for the lives of millions of people and your decisions affect all. Help us make Naija a better place. Make una use una head! One love!”
