Actor, Will Smith to play Serena William’s father in new movie
Award-winning American actor,Will Smith would be playing Richard Williams, the father of tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams, in the movie “King Richard.”
The movie focuses on Zach Baylin, who wrote a script based on Serena and Venus William’s father, Richard William’s life. The script was runner-up on the 2018 Black List.
The movie “King Richard” is written by Zach Baylin and follows the Williams family as Serena and Venus grew to be two of the greatest tennis champions.
The story depicts how Richard, with no tennis background, overcame tremendous hardship and drew up at a 78-page plan for the girls’ professional tennis careers when they were just children.
