Top 5 Effective Ways to Detoxify Your Body at Home Naturally!

Detoxification is a process by which the body gets rid of unwanted toxins which are acquired because of environmental pollutants or excessive consumption of junk, refined and processed foods.

While the liver is one such organ which possesses the capability of clearing out all the toxins at regular intervals it is necessary to follow the below tips in order to ensure that you have a healthy gut and a glowing skin almost every time.

5 ways in which you can detoxify at home!

1. Eat fresh and clean

Go organic and say yes to a healthy life.
The most important cause of toxin accumulation is consumption of highly fried, processed, refined & packaged foods. Excessive oil, salt and sugar act as toxins and lead to various health issues in the near future. Not just that, pesticide sprayed fruits and veggies can be equally harmful to your body.

Hence, if you are looking to detoxify your body then its extremely essential to lighten the burden which you have been putting on it time and again. Opt for organic fruits and veggies rather than consuming fast foods and processed foods. Reduce the consumption of oil , salt and sugar to minimum. Remember the body shall say a big thank you for this deed.

2. Drink plenty of water

Drink plenty of water.
If you have to detoxify your body then there is nothing better than water. Water is not just essential for survival but is equally important for removal of unwanted toxins which have occupied a huge space in your body. Make sure you consume at least 4-5 liters of water per day to see great results. Water not only removes the impurities efficiently but helps in weight loss, bids adieu to skin issues and boosts ones energy levels to optimum. Alternatively you can throw in some orange segments and mint leaves or strawberries, lemon wedges and mint leaves in order to prepare some detox water. It’s not only tasty but extremely healthy too.

3. Start exercising

You need to exercise in order to detoxify well.
You need to exercise in order to detoxify well.
Exercising is a way of saying yes to a healthy body. When you exercise there is immense sweating and sweating is a means by which the skin eliminates some toxins. The skin is capable of removing metals like arsenic, lead and mercury through sweat. Just like defecation and urination sweating is an effective means of detoxification. So exercising would not only help you in staying fit and healthy but would help you get rid of the unwanted toxins. One can easily perform crunches, front planks, squats, pushups and forward lunges at home. So get up and get going!

4. Try Fasting

Eat fruits and veggies for a day or 2.
You can fast for about a day or two and consume only fresh fruits and veggies instead of heavy meals. This would for sure give your digestive system a much needed break and help in adequate rejuvenation. You shall be pleased to see the effects of a fruit and veggie fast as it shall not only make you feel light but would provide ample rest to your gut.

5. Go green have a smoothie

More power to the lovely greens.
Smoothies are not just tasty but are highly nutritious too. Smoothies can be made using green leafy veggies like spinach and kale or you can also add in cucumber, lettuce, beetroot, carrot ,apple, banana and strawberries to your glass of antioxidant rich drink. Try consuming it for your breakfast or as a late evening drink and feel refreshed. This exercise would not only boost your immunity levels but will efficiently help you with the detoxification process.

The best way to detoxify is to eat fresh and clean.
So now you can easily detox at home without any hassles. Your body would thank you for letting it off the chemicals for a couple of days.
