Dangers of Taking Weight Gain Syrup!

From the years gone by, women have been subject to the objectification of their bodies with unrealistic goals set for each generation.

At one point in time, it was fashionable to be stick thin. Some years later, being chubby was considered a beauty standard.

Now, especially with the advent of social media, face and body contouring applications on the phone, the beauty standards for women has gone to the extreme. The new ideal figure for women is to have a big derriere with a tiny waist.
This type of shape can easily be attained through plastic surgery (liposuction, fat transfer and silicone implants) but it is not without the risk of serious complications and even death. For this reason, many women resort to the use of a very common weight gain syrup containing an ingredient called cyproheptadine in an attempt to achieve their goals.
Cyproheptadine is a drug used to treat allergies and hay fever however, it has a side effect of increased appetite and weight gain which has made it quite popular among the ‘grow a big booty club’.
Cyproheptadine for weight gain is usually prescribed by a medical professional for clinically underweight patients, patients who are struggling with anorexia or for patients, especially those recovering from a major illness and need to eat up to get back to a healthy weight.
For the most part, the drug is formulated with vitamins, amino acids and other supplements to help with appetite and supply some type of nutrition.
Some drug supplement companies have now started marketing cyproheptadine containing weight gain supplements specifically targeting women looking to have a more curvaceous look and a bigger behind.
It may seem like a quick fix promising almost miraculous results, but buyers must beware.
The active ingredients in these weight gain drugs have both short and long term side effects.
The initial side effects include feeling sleepy, dry mouth and eyes, restlessness and aggressiveness in children, tingly feeling, upset stomach and diarrhea. Other serious side effects include confusion, hallucinations, shaky hands, difficulty in urinating and fast or irregular heartbeats.
Studies have shown that using this drug over time has been linked to permanent memory loss.
In addition, cyproheptadine interacts with several other drugs and that can cause deadly interactions. Finally, the side effects of being overweight due to the increased food consumption cannot be understated. That includes an increased risk of developing diabetes, high cholesterol, heart disease and joint problems.
If you are looking to have a shapelier figure, there are safer, healthier ways of achieving that goal.
Perform targeted exercises to strengthen and increase the size of your gluteal muscles.
Eat a diet rich in healthy fats such as avocadoes and coconut milk.
If you want a healthier bum enhancing supplement, try maca root. Maca is a tuber originally from Peru so technically, it is a food and not a supplement. It helps to balance out hormones, increase the size of the muscles in your buttocks and promote weight gain.
Incorporating that with a good exercise program and a healthy nutritious diet program can give you the shapely figure you desire in a natural, healthy way. Have a healthy and happy weekend!
