Ace comedian, Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY has paid glowing tributes to the godfather of the Nigeria comedy business, Ali Baba, for the role the played in helping his career.

In an Instagram post on Tuesday, the 47-year-old stated that he is in an appreciative mood and wanted to thank all those who helped him.

He added that publicly appreciating the people who helped him get to where he is today will make the world be aware of who they are, and also let them know that we love them.

“We want to show appreciation to the people who helped us get to where we are today. We want the world to be aware of who they are, and also let them know that we love them. Appreciating them will be the highest form of prayer, for it acknowledges the presence of good wherever you shine the light of your thankful thoughts. In that spirit i am appreciating @alibabagcfr for being the one that God used in helping me become who i am today,” he wrote.

He then challenged his colleagues in the entertainment industry to the same by making a post with the #APPRECIATIONCHALLENGE in honour of that special person who helped them.

“I am challenging ALL MY COLLEAGUES and tagging some friends and followers to do likewise by making a post with the #APPRECIATIONCHALLENGE in honour of that special person who helped you.” He wrote.
