Basketmouth cancels trip to South Africa this weekend
Nigerian comedian, Basketmouth has cancelled his trip to South Africa for the Comics Choice Awards that is set to hold there this weekend.
This is after Tiwa Savage also cancelled her performance in the country because of the current attack against Nigerians.
According to Basketmouth, his action may seem small but he is sure that its impact would be felt.
On his Instagram page, he wrote,
I am not sure how and when we got here. I won’t be attending the Comics Choice Awards this weekend in S.A as scheduled. It might sound as a whisper but together, our voices and the right actions will hopefully make a true difference. And real change can begin.
But for today, we stand.
