Yemi Alade features Funke Akindele-Bello in her song, “Poverty”
We know Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele Bello and singer, Yemi Alade are friends but we didn’t know that both women would be working together.
In one of her tracks, “poverty,” which is on the Woman of Steel album, Yemi Alade featured Funke Akindele.
Funke did the introduction of the song by saying prayers against poverty, in her popular Jenifa voice.
“This your girl Jenifa. poverty no go locate all of us o. Anything you touch, e go dey successful,” Funke said.
Sung in Swahili dialect, having Funke’s voice on the song made it really fun to listen to.
