Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu popularly know by the stage name Burna Boy has won the best African Act category at the MTV EMAs award 2019.

The African giant beats other nominees like Teni, Toofan(Togo), prince Kaybee(South Africa), Harmonize(Tanzania) and Nasty C (South Africa) to bring this award home.

This simply means that Nigerians has won in this category for four consecutive years. Wizkid (2016), Davido (2017), Tiwa Savage (2018)

Burna Boy is certainly having the best year as this will be the second international award for the year 2019.

He won the Best International Act award at the 2019 Black Entertainment Television( BET) Awards.

At the MTV EMAs award 2019, Taylor Swift has the highest nominations and won two of the categories.

She won the Best US Act and the Best Video.
