Are you in charge of your happiness?

This is a question you really need to answer ;Are you in charge of your happiness?

You see being happy is a choice we all need to make for ourselves.

While some have succeeded in creating their own happiness.

Others unfortunately has left theirs in the hands of another human.

We all know that humans are fickle , they can change on you with the turn of events.

The person in your life now might become a stranger tomorrow.

What happens to your happiness then?

It’s OK to want to be at peace with all but the truth is you really can’t be at peace with everyone.

Some persons, no matter how hard you try to make it work out with them, it really never works out.

It seems they built a barrier that continuously shields your effort.

Leaving your happiness in the hands of such people only leaves you at their mercy.

They can decide to keep you happy or sad any day by the little things they do.

One of my favorite quote says “No one can hurt you without your permission ”

Since I learnt about this quote I’ve tried to live it and be in absolute control of my happiness.

I tell certain people, it will take you alot of sweat to get me angry.

Reason is that I decide what affects me and that gives me perfect control.

I understand that most times we need people to succeed in life, business, career, academic and different walks of life.

But the truth remains we ought to be in perfect control of our happiness even while relating with negative people.

Always remember this, your happiness and mental health is of utmost importance, therefore;

Do not leave your happiness in the hands of another human or thing regardless of the position they occupy in your life.

Be in charge and live a life of happiness and fulfilment.
