Laycon now Sickle Cell Foundation global advocate
Rapper and singer, Olamilekan Agbeleshe, has been presented with the awards for ‘Ambassador Extraordinary’ and ‘Sickle Cell Global Advocate’ presented by the Sickle Cell Foundation Nigeria (SCFN)
The winner of Big Brother Naija season 5 and currently youth ambassador of Ogun State shared pictures of the presentation on social media on Wednesday.
The 27-year-old stated that plans to use his God-given platform to create more awareness about Sickle Cell Disorder in Nigeria and beyond.
He urged everyone with sickle cell disorder not to be intimidated as they too can achieve their dreams once you put their minds to it.
He wrote: “I’m very pleased to receive the awards for ‘Ambassador Extraordinary’ and ‘Sickle Cell Global Advocate’ presented by the Sickle Cell Foundation Nigeria (SCFN).
