Deep seated self racism we suffer in Africa – Reno Omokri

July 1,2020
Share:

With the black live matters discussion on going in the world, Reno believes that Africa surfer deep seated self racism.

He opines that Africans do not respect their heritage but are expecting others to respect them.

Reno believes that Africans are racist to themselves as an African man will prefer a lady who bleached her skin and straightened their hair to a  natural African woman.

Taken to twitter Reno wrote ;

“To highlight the deep seated self racism we suffer in Africa:

* We abhor African masquerades yet adore European masquerades-Santa Claus
* Many women bleach their skins and straighten their hair
* Our men prefer such women to natural African women.

Does #BlackLivesMatter   to Africans when:

Africans born in Africa speak in Western accents
When @Cristiano speaks English with thick Portuguese accent, he is ‘cute’ to us. African players in Europe speak with an accent, we say they sound ‘crass’!

Does #BlackLivesMatter to Africans when:

@BBC hires African journalists who sound African. But, African broadcast stations wont hire Africans who sound African. They want you to sound ‘polished’ and Western. Sadly, Africa is racist against herself.”
