To make a successful leader, embrace servanthood, Dolly Unachukwu counsels

Actress and filmmaker, Dolly Unachukwu has reiterated the need for young people to embrace and enjoy servanthood in other to be a successful leader.

According to her post on Instagram, one thing young people must understand is that one can never win a battle against one’s boss by being arrogant. “Your boss is your boss.” She added.

Young people need to understand this fact every day. You can never win a battle against your boss by being arrogant! In fact, there is no battle anywhere. Your boss is your boss!

“I understand that everyone cannot serve just one person forever. It is in our nature as humans to always want independence.  However, when it’s time to leave, never ever display arrogance.

“Before you slam that door, think about the good things your boss has done and the number of times you said ‘thank you’. There are ways to leave without slamming doors or biting the fingers that fed you. Even God frowns at arrogance towards a leader. Wisdom is damn profitable!!!

“To make a successful leader, you need to embrace servanthood and enjoy every bit of it first. Ask people who slammed the doors and left their bosses angrily how the journey has been! It’s always a path leading to nowhere but stagnancy.”
