Kanye West, US rapper, once again has ignited fresh controversy after he took to his Twitter page to share a video of himself peeing on one of his 21 Grammy awards.

In a flurry of tweets on Wednesday, the ‘Ye’ singer called out Universal Music Group (UMG), a US record label, while sharing screenshots of his contract with the company.

Amid the anger-laden tweets, West could be seen urinating on one of his Grammy awards in a toilet bowl in a clip accompanied with a terse post reading: “Trust me, l won’t stop.”

He also threatened more drastic actions in another of the tweets if UMG does not address the issues raised by him in the coming days.

“I wonder if Universal gonna call me … I promise I have more ideas … I will not stop I promise you on God,” he wrote.
West further called on other fellow music heavyweights, including Taylor Swift, who also publicly called out Big Machine Records for selling her masters to Scooter Braun last year, in pursuing his course.

“Bono can I get a retweet Love you Paul can I get a retweet love you Drake Kendrick even Taylor. We need you right noooooow,” the rapper added.

The ‘Jesus Is King’ crooner’s tweets had come amid complaints about musicians’ lack of rights in owning their master recordings.

“The artist deserve to own our masters … artist are starving without tours … Ima go get our masters … for all artist … pray for me,” he tweeted.

The development comes hours after the 43-year-old announced that he won’t be releasing new music until UMG and Sony/ATV Music Publishing both release him from their contracts.
