Nollywood’s Bukunmi Oluwasina Weds Lover Of 11 Years

Nigerian actress, Bukunmi Oluwasina, has finally tied the knot with her lover of 11 years.

The Yoruba movie star took to her social media page to break the good news to her numerous fans on Thursday.

In a lengthy post, Oluwasina chronicled the early days of their relationship before they left for the university.

The actress recalled telling her lover in 2010 to give her something to hold so as to always remind her of him when she was about starting her university education.

She said though he gave her his wristband, he had laughed off the gesture, insinuating that she might ditch him for other person along the way.

Oluwasina expressed her joy that they have remained together till then.

“I remember 2010, when we were leaving.. And I told you to give me something to hold, to always remind me of you,” she wrote on Instagram.

“Then you gave me your wine wristband. I told you I would keep it forever and maybe wear it on our wedding day. You laughed and said… ‘That’s if we don’t end up breaking up when we enter university, and you start meeting better guys’. It’s 11 years now, and I have met a lot of men like you said…but haven’t, and will never stop choosing you over everyone.”

She also narrated how her lover earlier opposed her choice of studying theatre arts at the university but later supported her ambition just to make her happy.

Oluwasina went on to extol her man’s amazing personality, describing him as a major inspiration behind the various movie awards she had won.

“I remember when I told you I was going to study theatre art you never liked it. But you know how much I love it… till you came to like it too, just to see me happy…Just like your name, You are a Gift to me,” she added.
