TRAILER: Bautista, Jason Momoa, Zendaya Star In ‘Dune’

Popular wrestler, Dave Bautista, and Jason Momoa, an American actor, are among the prominent individuals that starred in ‘Dune’, a movie adapted from a 1965 novel.

The long-awaited trailer for the epic sci-fi film was released on Wednesday, treating movie lovers to a glimpse of the fictional world of the Arrakis and giant sandworms that come with the desert planet.

Based on a novel by Frank Herbert, the movie, which is directed by Denis Villeneuve, who also has directorial credits for ‘Blade Runner 2049’, follows a 1984 original film and a 2000 TV series.

‘Dune’ is set in the distant future of a feudal interstellar society in which nobles control planetary fiefs, and tells the story of young Paul Atreides, whose family accepts the stewardship of Arrakis.

While the planet is an inhospitable and sparsely populated desert wasteland, it is the only source of Melange, a drug that extends life, enhances mental abilities, and is necessary for space navigation.

Among other actors that featured in the movie, which has been scheduled for release on December 18, are Chang Chen, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Zendaya.

Others are Timothée Chalamet, who plays Paul Atreides (the main character), David Dastmalchian, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Charlotte Rampling, Rebecca Ferguson and Javier Bardem.
