Independence Day: What are we celebrating? – Yul Edochie
Nollywood actor Yul Edochie is asking what we are celebrating today 1st October 2020.
Yul said he won’t be wishing anyone a happy independence when the people are not happy.
He added that Nigerians are celebrating suffering and he listed some of the problems plaguing Nigeria at the moment.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Yul Edochie Tweeted;
”I cannot wish anyone a happy independence when my people are not happy. What are we celebrating? Fuel price increase? Electricity tariff hike? Hardship? Bad roads? Killings everywhere? Jobless youths turned beggars? The list is endless. Speak the truth. Nigerians are suffering.”
