Lekki tollgate shooting: “It’s your fault that people died,” Actress Adaeze Eluke, tells colleagues
Nollywood actress, Adaeze Eluke has blamed her colleagues for the death of some protesters at Lekki Tollagate.
On Tuesday, October 20, 2020 some armed security agents opened fire on protesters gathered at the Lekki Toll gate, which had been one of the main rallying points of #EndSARS protesters in Lagos State.
The shooting led to several casualties and since then Lagos has been unrest.
The protests which have been going on for over two weeks was to compel the government to ban the Special Anti-robbery Squad (SARS) unit of the police, which has been accused of extortion, torture and extra-judicial killings.
Reacting to the current situation of things, Adaeze Eluke aired her stand via her post on Instagram.
In a swift reaction, Ruth Kadiri, movie star cum filmmaker, and other actors responded.
