Entertainment: Chinko Ekun Warns YBNL Princess After Rant About Olamide

December 8,2020

Nigerian rapper, Chinko Ekun, has warned Temmie Ovwasa, a singer better known as YBNL Princess, not to involve him in any issue she might be having with YBNl boss Olamide.

Ovwasa had earlier taken to Twitter on Monday to blame Olamide, a singer and YBNL Nation boss, for her failed music career during her stay at the record label.

In a flurry of tweets, she had also alleged that she recorded three albums and multiple singles which did not see the light of the day because Olamide “rejected them for no reason.”

“Omo, it’s YBNL thinking that I’m going to keep quiet after they f**ked me over for nearly 5 years, my voice may not be loud but I fit shout. You don’t give a person hope & snatch it from them. Olamide Adedeji, I will always have your name in my mouth. Silence is not my language,” she had written in a lengthy Twitter rant.

The 23-year-old had also mentioned Chinko among some other artists that have been associated with the music label.

“Chinko, Xino, Lyta, Davolee, Picasso, Yomi blaze, Limerick, Temmie. You give the world the impression that you’re kind but beneath the façade is a man that leaves a trail of broken dreams,” she had written in a now-deleted post.

Chinko, who seemed unhappy with Ovwasa’s Twitter rant, put out a freestyle where he warned her not to involve him in the ongoing drama.

“She’s trending on Twitter, she don go thief ashluxe…I’m not here to fight. If you know Temmie Ovwasa, warn her. If she wants to para, please she shouldn’t call my name. Don’t call my name… Don’t mess with the tiger and go scot-free… I’m doing just great and am focusing… Don’t call my name… I’m only available for Jaiye,” he could be heard singing

Hours after calling out Olamide, Temmie announced on her Twitter page that she has “resolved the issues” with the YBNL boss.

“I had a meeting with Olamide and all issues have been resolved. Still Family, Always,” she wrote.

As of the time of this report, Olamide is yet to speak on the ongoing drama.

Ovwasa had joined YBNL in 2016. The singer, however, announced recently that she had left the record label.
