Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade defects from PDP to APC
Ben Ayade, the governor of Cross River State, has defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to join the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a meeting with six APC governors who paid him a visit at Government House, the governor announced his decision to join the party.
Some APC governors reportedly arrived in Calabar State on Wednesday to convince Ayade to defect from the PDP to their side, according to sources.
