Saidi Balogun remembers late colleague, Ayisa Abimbola
Popular actor Saheed Balogun has actres remembered late Nollywood actress, Aisha Abimbola, lost the battle to cancer, three years ago, in Canada.
Saidi, in a post on Instagram noted that The Golden Movie Ambassadors Of Nigeria (TGMAN), an association which the late Yoruba movie star was part of, will for ever miss her.
He wrote:
“Amb Ayisa Abimbola today makes it the third year that you left this sinful world ABIMBOLA.THE GOLDEN MOVIE AMBASSADORS OF NIGERIA(TGMAN) will for ever miss you. Rest in peace for ever Abimbola.”
Abimbola who studied Catering and Hotel Management at the Lagos State Polytechnic first featured in TV series, Papa Ajasco.
She came into limelight on the back of a Bola Igida movie, Omoge Campus. The title of the movie stuck to her and became her stage name. The movie was produced in 2001.
She produced her own movie, T’omi T’eje, which drew from her NYSC experience.
