7 Wardrobe Essentials For The Working Woman

As a working class lady, stockpiling your work wardrobe can be expensive, especially since you can’t repeat your pieces as often as the guys can.

But if you do your first real official wears shopping correctly, you can save yourself money and day to day stress of picking what to wear. We have helped pick out these 7 must-have essentials for every working ladies.

1. BLACK DRESS

Dresses, especially Black ones are fantastic for the office because they are an entire outfit in one easy zip. On the days when you have time to orchestrate elegance and sophistication before a big meeting, it will be an advantage.

2. A WELL-MADE BLAZER

A quality blazer is not hard to spot; they really do look different, and they feel different. You can use it to dress up officially or throw it over a top and nice jeans if your office accepts casual wears.

3. A Roomy Quality Work Bag

You need an organized, professional place to keep your Cards, house keys, ID badge and other essentials. Invest in a work bag that is both big enough and smart enough to make those tasks easier on you.

4. Block Heels

If you’re going to invest in a pair of work heels, neutral colours and low heels are going to make by far the most sense. You’ll be wearing them all day, so you’ll want to ditch the higher heels that hurt after the second hour.

5. Classy Wristwatch

Wristwatch is one of few accessories that actually succeeds in stepping up an outfit to a more polished and professional look.

6. Pair Of Black Pants

As much as you are going to love a great, nondescript dress to throw on in the morning, you’ll likely spend most of your working life living in a pair of pants.

7. Comfortable, Neutral Flats

Many women want another option besides wearing heels to work every day. Flats are still formal enough for the office, but they’re easier to walk in, more comfortable, and often less expensive.
