Nollywood actor, Jideofor Achufusi, better known as Swanky JKA, has spoken about losing his father, cousin, and uncle in the space of one year.

In a recent emotional Instagram post, the Living in Bondage: Breaking Free star opened up on dealing with the pains of losing his loved ones.

According to him, it all started late last year when he lost his “favourite uncle” identified as Chudy.

He said his cousin named Dera also passed away in February 2022, a few months after his uncle’s death.

“Rest well pops. Dec 1939-Feb 2022. No words. This year has been so so… First my lil cousin bro; Dera. I didn’t even know he was sick, just heard he passed.”

“I’m still at a loss for words about his passing. Dera was laid to rest on Saturday 12th February; then my biological dad died early hours of the 13th…Also lost My fav. uncle Chudy late last year.”

The model said while he was still trying to come to terms with the loss of the trio, one of his close friends passed on.

“Lost a close friend this year too. Flying to Anambra for the burial rites last week felt like a journey of a thousand years. So many emotions and recanting.”

“Blessed to have learnt a lot from all of them and grateful for the bonds we shared. God bless their memory and encourage all who they left behind… It is well.”
