‘The Delegates’ a movie which showcases the intrigues and ills associated with electioneering campaigns in the country was recently launched in Lagos.

The movie was produced by Verdant Zeal, a Pan- African multidisciplinary marketing and communications Group, via the launch of a web platform known as Archhub Africa a.k.a. AHA. The launch came with a premiere of The Delegates’ the company’s first original short film, held at the EbonyLife Place Victoria Island Lagos.

The movie which had about 40 child actors was shot in an elementary school and the plot depicts the social evils of politics in our society, and the way society encourages it and eventually pays for his or her ignorance, greed and lack of imagination and prescientness.

According to the Chief Operating Officer of Verdant Zeal, Dipo Adesida, The Delegates is the first of more short and feature films to come out of the stable of AHA. He said at least five films, titled Nonetheless, Fawa House, Eko Palava and two others are in production stages.

Adesida noted that African content is on the rise and there is that consciousness that Africans are holding their own with their ways of life that is fast becoming acceptable everywhere.

Line up of casts of ‘The Delegates’ include A-list actress Ayo Adesanya, Okey Ozoeshi, Michael Akpuhijiha, Jomiloju Owojuyigbe, and Vanessa Olugbodi amongst others who were present at the event.

Here are more faces at the event.
